The food we ordered was awesome. There were 4 of us. We each got something different. We were all very happy with our food. We will go back the next time we are in the area. The waitress was very good and helpful.

Essex House and Tavern is a crucial stop or stay for any snowmobiler in the area. The food is undeniably tasty, and the location is ideal. However, on each of my visits, the wait time for food was excessive. While I understand busy periods, the consistent delays impacted my overall experience. If you plan to stop for a meal, factor in extra time. If you're staying overnight, enjoy your time!
